AEW world champion Kenny Omega was apparently angry after last night’s exploding barbed wire death match during the AEW Revolution pay-per-view. As noted, Omega retained its title over Jon Moxley last night. After the game, the 30-minute timer continued to count until a full blast from the ring area. Moxley was still in the ring, with Eddie Kingston covering him to possibly save him from the explosion. The explosion at the right time was expected to be this huge explosion at the right time, but it was a dud. The faint explosion led to a significant amount of negative feedback on social media.
According to Bryan Alvarez of Wrestling Observer Live, Omega is apparently “furious” during the finale. No other details were provided, but Omega was not happy with how the end went.
