The Eagles want a higher price to give up fullback Carson Wentz.
Despite reports in recent days that a Wentz trade deal is imminent, Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reports that the Eagles are still waiting for an offer that they believe is fair. So far they have not got one.
What is fair? Some reports have suggested that the Colts or Bears may be part of their first pick for Wentz, but there is no good reporting on exactly what was offered, and exactly what the Eagles are demanding.
So we are now waiting to see if any team is willing to fetch the Eagles’ asking price for a quarterback who was once an MVP candidate but now a season in which he got the bench. The Eagles want more than anyone has offered so far.
