Report: Andy Dickerson leaves Rams as Seahawks management coordinator

Assistant attacking coach Andy Dickerson is leaving the Los Angeles Rams after nine seasons to take a job with the Seattle Seahawks as their coordinator. according to Mike Silver of the NFL Network.

Dickerson follows Rams co-coach Shane Waldron to Seattle, who after four seasons will become the team’s attacking coordinator as the LA coordinator.

Dickerson is the last coach in the Rams staff to precede Sean McVay’s term with the franchise. He joined the Rams staff in St. Louis. Louis joined when Jeff Fisher was appointed as the team’s coach in 2012. Prior to his time with the Rams, he spent four years with the New York Jets (2007-09, 2011) and two years with the Cleveland Browns. He was also an operational intern for the New England Patriots in 2004-05.

Dickerson was colleagues with Waldron at Tufts University.

Dickerson will replace Brennan Carroll, son of Pete Carroll, head coach of the Seahawks, as the team’s coordinator. Brennan left the team after the season to become the offensive coordinator at the University of Arizona.
