President Trump was banned on Twitter after the riot in the U.S. Capitol, and Rep. Nancy Mace, RS.C., calls the reaction of the social media giant the pinnacle of hypocrisy.
“Twitter is completely hypocritical about the issue and, frankly, it’s non-American,” she told Fox & Friends Weekend.
Mace argued that the ban on the President of the United States for violating Twitter’s rules and standards is ‘one thing’, but failing to apply these rules to all users and accounts shows a clear double standard. She then called on Twitter to be “clear and consistent” in their application.

Mace quoted Chinese Communist Party officials as saying on Twitter that human rights groups had called the genocide of Uighur Muslims.

The congresswoman said Twitter ‘clearly’ benefits from foreign leaders and terrorist groups threatening our country and our allies online.
“To endure all the pain our country is currently experiencing – we’ve been through a lot of pain over the last five and a half days and it feels like you’re throwing petrol on the fire,” she said. “It’s very sad. I’m sad for our country.”

“We have to make the right decision, starting today and moving forward, that we can no longer allow these voices of violence to take over,” she added.
Mace called on the president to wave the flag at half-staff in honor of Officer Brian Sicknick, who was killed during riots on Wednesday.
In the letter, she explained that Sicknick had made the ‘ultimate sacrifice’ to protect the country’s democracy.
