If Republicans do not retain control of the Senate after Tuesday’s dual by-elections in Georgia, the political divide in the United States will shift from a ‘cold civil war’ to a ‘full-scale heat conflict’, says Chip Roy, R. -Texas, warned Monday.
“If we have a democratically controlled Senate, we are now basically in a hot conflict in this country, while we are currently in a cold civil war,” Roy told Tucker Carlson Tonight.
“We have a big problem where the American people, the ordinary people out there who work every day, are being trampled on by hard-working Americans by a system set up against them,” Roy said.
Republican Sen. David Perdue and Kelly Loeffler in Georgia face fierce challenges from Democrats Jon Ossoff and Raphael Warnock, respectively. The polls attracted hundreds of millions in spending with polls showing tough racing in both games. If the Democrats win both games, they will run the Senate for at least the first two years of President-elect Joe Biden’s election.

“That’s what’s at stake here,” Roy emphasized. “People have to show up tomorrow to keep the line.”
Roy acknowledged that Republican voters in Peach State are “angry” about big government and about Big Tech and small business companies. [and] local governments striking small businesses and putting them out of work. ‘

At the same time, he added: “they have seen problems with elections that reduce their confidence in the elections that are important for democracy and for our country.”
But, Roy repeated, ‘if the American people do not turn up in Georgia and make sure we keep the Senate in Republican hands … [Democrats] lock it up forever. ‘
