Remote schooling team parents and their children, CDC survey suggests

According to a survey by the federal government, it is likely that parents whose children received virtual education would report poorer well-being for themselves and their children.

According to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control & Prevention survey released Thursday, parents were more likely to report being emotionally upset, worried about job stability, and struggling to balance work and child care.

Some parents also reported that the mental and emotional health of their children deteriorated while their physical activity decreased.

The findings contribute to an increasing amount of evidence about the harm caused by keeping children out of the classroom. Referring to the benefits of personal learning, the federal government and other officials have called for school reopening, although some teachers and parents have safety issues.

Evidence so far indicates that the distribution of Covid-19 in schools is minimal if they follow the recommended safety precautions. Bunches of cases occurred when the safety protocols expired.
