Release date, new map and new modes

The Mid-Season update of the Black Ops Cold War is coming soon, with a whole bunch of new content that players can enjoy.

Treyarch has finally announced the launch date for the big new Mid-Season 1 update and it’s coming sooner than players thought.

The update will include new content, including a new map and new game modes. However, they did not mention anything about solving Cold War’s biggest problem, which ruined the game for many players.

New Fireteam Card: Sanatorium

Cold War’s mid-season 1 update brings players to the new Sanatorium map. Located in the Ural Mountains, there is every chance that it could be part of the new Warzone map.

Centered around a huge brutalist Sanatorium, the map will also contain a lake and a dock. Players can also use the new Tactical Raft vehicle to drive quickly across the lake and move quickly through the map.

New 6v6 multiplayer mode: Dropkick

Dropkick is a high-stakes battle over an extremely powerful briefcase with core launch codes. After a rush to grab the briefcase, teams will have to protect the carrier to get points.

The carrier is also equipped with a mega-powerful pistol to fight enemies to steal their briefcase. The first team to have 200 points starts a novel to win the game.

This exciting new mode should make players look forward to the Cold War Mid-Season update.

New zombie mode of the Cold War: slapped

Cranked is even crazier than your standard game Zombies. Players will have to constantly kill the dead to prevent the countdown clock from reaching zero.

When the timer is up, the game ends with the explosion of the player. The mode also has a special Cranked startup that gives players a much-needed breather.

Players hope Sniper Rifles is popped up in Zombies before Cranked goes live in the Mid-Season 1 update.

Issue date for the Cold War in the middle of the season 1

Treyarch announced in their new column notes that the update will be released on January 14th.

This will be a complete update that players will need to download, rather than one of the little hotspots that will be updated when the game is released.

A new playlist update is also available in Black Ops Cold War with exciting new game modes. Don’t worry, Nuketown is staying for now.

There has been a lot of controversy recently with the Cold War and Warzone weapons. This Blueprint increases damage and has better recoil than the base weapon – are Blueprints paid to win?

Although not announced in the Mid-Season Update, it looks like the Cold War will soon get a Riot Shield.
