Reggie Miller calls Steph Curry GOAT shooter in a congratulatory message

Late in the first quarter of the Warriors’ victory over Chicago Bulls on Sunday, Steph Curry Drilled a 3-pointer from the left wing to level the game at 22 pieces.

The triplets were the 2,500th of his career, making him the third player in NBA history to score at least 2,500 tries.

Shortly after Curry joined the exclusive club, Reggie Miller – who has always been number 2 with 2,560 3s – taken to social media to congratulate Golden State’s superstar.

Ray Allen is No. 1 in league history with 2,973 3-points. If all goes according to plan, Curry Allen will replace him at some point next season.

The two-time NBA MVP is overall no. 1 in playoffs with 470 (LeBron James is second with 414).

Curry started slowly in Chicago on Sunday as he had just 14 points on 2-for-10 shooting from across the arc, with just over two minutes left in the third quarter. But he caught fire and finished with 36 points on 5-for-15 from distance.

And most importantly, Golden State took its first win of the season over Damion Lee’s award-winning three-pointer by 1.7 seconds.

Curry and the Warriors will be back in action against the Detroit Pistons on Tuesday night.
