The Reds scored the third base Mike Moustakas on the 10-day injured list, retroactive to April 17, Bobby Nightengale of the Cincinnati Enquirer was among those to sign up. The team reinstated the attacker Alex Blandino of the COVID-19 list in a corresponding move.
Moustakas has not been in the Reds series since April 14 due to a disease not related to COVID. However, Cincinnati listed him in his starting lineup for Tuesday’s game against the Diamondbacks before reversing the course.
Moustakas, who is in the second season of a $ 64 million four-year contract, started fast this month before his illness took its toll. The 32-year-old has scored an excellent .289 / .404 / .553 series with two home games and just as many runs as hits (seven) in 47 plate appearances.
