Reddit users briefly reported in the U.S. and Canada on Saturday, Reuters reported, citing an outage monitor Downdetector.
According to Reuters, a map on the Downdetector website showed that customers had reported problems logging in to Reddit and sending messages. Regions such as New York, Boston and Washington, DC, were affected, as well as Toronto.
From Saturday afternoon, Downdetector reported no problems with Reddit. Reddit’s operational page also showed no problems.
A Reddit spokesman told Reuters: “We have been experiencing problems with higher error rates this week. … It meant slower loading times for some users, but we were never difficult. ‘
The statement also said it had no problems watching Saturday.
Reddit did not immediately return a request for comment from The Hill.
