This week’s weekly update of Red Dead Online has been launched, and for players looking for the outdoors or wanting to spend some time along the lake, the next few days look particularly rewarding. Developer Rockstar Games has outlined all the updates of the week and more in a new blog post that you can see below.

Scientific rewards

Physicists can this week host the double cash and XP rewards on all monster sales, as well as an added bonus of 100 soothing Varmint gun rounds and five animal revivals on any legendary animal monsters. For players who want to explore the more natural side of Red Dead Online, there is also a complimentary grooming package with Potent Herbivore bait, Potent Predator bait and three special lake baits available.

The retail cost of the Naturalist’s monster set is also discounted, and players can purchase five gold bars from the equipment. Completing a round game photographer will result in a 40% discount on the advanced camera. If you bring pelters to Gus Macmillan to make clothes and trinkets for him, the cost of outfits below rank 15 will be reduced by 50%.

Fishing bonuses

Free fishing challenges will double players cash and XP rewards. The frequency of these challenges will be increased this week. If you visit the butcher to unload any fish you have caught, you will receive an extra 50% cash bonus on all sales.

Rockstar has announced that anyone linking their Rockstar Games Social Club account to Prime Gaming will be able to start a career as a Bounty Hunter and dress up their wagon with a new installment:
