Rebel Wilson says her dramatic weight loss over the past year has not changed her, but others have.
It has specifically changed how other people treat her, the actress explained in the Australian radio program “The Morning Crew With Hughesy, Ed and Erin”, according to the UK Independent.
“I like to think I looked good in all sizes and things, and I’ve always been very confident,” said the Pitch Perfect star. So it was not like I was not confident, and now I was super confident.
‘I think what was really interesting to me was how other people treated you. Because people were bigger sometimes, they did not necessarily look at you twice. ”
The 40-year-old added that the fact that people ‘offered to take my groceries to the car and keep doors open’ made her think, ‘Is this what other people have been experiencing all along?’ ‘
Wilson added that the attention her refined image received still amazes her, “when there is so much going on in the world,” allowing “people to always be fascinated by weight loss transformations.”
Wilson reached her goal weight of 165 pounds in November after undertaking a ‘year of health’. “While it’s not a weight, it’s about being healthy,” she said.
