Footage originated from the moments before Alcoyanoequalizer against Real Madrid at their Copa del Rey meeting on Wednesday night, with Marcelo screaming instructions seen at Vinicius just in front of the goal.
Marcelo shouted Vinicius to get back to the first corner, before asking his compatriot to mark Jose Solbes when entering the second corner.
“Don’t waste it!” the left-back was heard screaming in the footage captured by Deportes Cuatro.
But, Vinicius lost Solbes and the Alcoyano man managed to force the draw to extra time, where the team from Segunda B would eventually win 2-1.
Vinicius try to explain to Marcelo that he should have been outside the penalty area and ready for a possible counterattack. The end result, however, is that Alcoyano survived and is now through to the next round of the Copa del Rey.
