Villarreal and Getafe have apparently reached an agreement for the transfer of Real Madrid loan holder Takefusa Kubo.
The Japanese international does not appear regularly below Unai Emery at the Estadio de la Ceramica, played 700 minutes, started seven games and scored one goal in the first half of the season.
According to Onda Cero, Real Madrid give Kubo the green light to move from Villarreal to Getafe for the rest of the campaign.
As previously reported by MARCA, there was an obstacle over the 2.5 million euro loan cost that Villarreal initially paid to Real Madrid.
Villarreal wanted to recover half the amount if Kubo left in January. Getafe President Angel Torres agreed to pay the Yellow Submarine bonuses, depending on how the forward performs the rest of the season.
Kubo could become a Getafe player as soon as he is expected to take the trip to Madrid to finalize the move.
