Rayo Vallecano vs Barcelona Copa del Rey last 16 tie
Ronald Koeman included Lionel Messi in Barcelonaface group Rayo Vallecano Wednesday night in Vallecas in the last 16 of the Copa del Rey, following the end of the Argentine’s suspension in two matches.
Sergino Dest was not included in the group because he did not practice with the group on Tuesday. Koeman erred on the side of the warning and decided to let the American out, to allow him to rest and recover from the physical problems he was having.
An option to replace Destination could have been in the group Sergi Roberto, who has been rehearsing with the group in recent days, but Koeman once again chose to be careful and did not call him. As such, Oscar Mingueza can fill in again at fullback.
Koeman however, decided to include the promising midfielder Ilaix Moriba, as he did in the last round.
