The battle between Justice League star Ray Fisher and the president of DC Films, Walter Hamada, have another … What, peak? Nadir? Hypnotic conflict clash? Make your choice Tonight, when Fisher announces that he has been formally removed from a planned appearance as Victor “Cyborg” Stone in Andy Muschietti’s long pregnancy Flash Movie. It’s coming, not quitepredictable, following a statement Fisher made late last year in which he declared that he would refuses to work on any film produced by Hamada, and Hamada is still firmly locked up by DC Films, so … Yes.

In a long and passionate Twitter message, Fisher outlined his problems with Hamada in his clearest language to date.accused him during a call in June, that he deliberately ignored the affairs the actor had with Geoff Johns, former head of DC Films, who Fisher co-produced with producer Jon Berg and director Joss Whedon, and tried to finish off. racist and abusive behavior during the filming of Justice League. This call – which also contains in Fisher’s description a “tasteless self-conscious joke” about Hamada hoping not to end up on Fisher’s Twitter –appears to be the origin of Fisher’s later allegations that Hamada happily “threw [Whedon and Berg] under the bus ”in favor of Johns, who was himself hard pushed back by a statement from Warner Bros. in September.

Admittedly, these are most of the above is old news in this long and often furiously vague story. However, here are things that get juicier: Fisher accuses Hamada of deliberately disguising Johns’ behavior, including accusations of the film’s lengthy investigation into the filming of the film, which ended last month but which we in the public are not yet familiar with the details of. In his statement, Fisher – who presumably has saw the conclusions of the investigation –claims that the investigation “Was able to expose the racist, coercive, discriminatory and retaliatory behavior of Geoff Johns during his tenure at WarnerMedia’s affiliates, as well as claim that it ‘led to a more immediate separation between WarnerMedia and Joss Whedon. ‘ Again, we did not see any of the results of the investigation – all we got back then was WarnerMedia noticing it “remedial action” taken –but the timeline do loose card Whedon suddenly leave his HBO Max series The Nevers end of November 2020 back.

Fisher ends his statement by calling Hamada “unfit for leadership” and declaring himself willing to take a polygraph to support any of his allegations. WarnerMedia and DC Films have so far not responded – or even confirmed that Fisher is out of the film, although they want apparently worked on plans to write him off The flash now for a while.
