Just a few weeks later GoldenEye 007 XBLA was leaked online, Rare’s other canceled project Dinosaur planet has now appeared on the internet.
This title started during the Nintendo 64 generation around 1999, was canceled and eventually reappeared as Star Fox Adventures on the Nintendo GameCube. In this feature you can read about how Dinosaur Planet is connected to Fox.
The release comes with permission from Forest of Illusion, who bought a disc with the construction work from a ‘private game collector’ in Sweden. The file date of this build-up dates from 1 December 2000.
It appears to be a ‘late build’ and consequently features characters like Fox McCloud in it. Although it can not yet be played completely on emulators, it should work “well” on flash cards.
