Rapper G Herbo ad Taina Williams announced on New Year’s Day that they are expecting their first child together. The couple went to their respective Instagram pages to share photos and a video of a pregnancy recording, with Herbo writing: ‘Must be one of God’s favorites, because my life is only getting better !! As long as my lessons bring more blessings, I am str8 4 ever. Happy New Year!”
Taina also shared a message below a video of the recording. She wrote: ‘Sometimes the greatest things in life are worth hiding for a greater sacrifice. Happiness is an understatement for the joy we feel and the light you already have [brought] on us. God knows I prayed for you … ”
Adding, “The journey is never easy, but the story is always amazing to tell .. this feeling is indescribable .. you are made with so much love, no one else will ever know the power of my love for you “2020 was difficult but you gave me hope for 2021. We love you and can not wait to meet you my sweet baby. Happy New Year.”
G Herbo, real name Herbert Wright III, is currently awaiting trial in a federal fraud case. The musician and five members of his crew are accused of using stolen identities to file fraudulent charges for excessive services. During a trial on Dec. 9, Herbo pleaded not guilty through a videoconference on the federal charges. His lawyer also revealed that Taina Williams, his client’s fiancée, was four months pregnant:
Wright’s lawyer, meanwhile, revealed during the 30-minute trial that Wright’s fiancée, Taina Williams, was four months pregnant and asked that he travel to New Jersey to visit her and their new baby. U.S. Magistrate Judge Katherine Robertson granted the request. Prosecutors also identified one of the witnesses in the case as a woman from Atlanta with whom Wright is sharing a child from a previous relationship. Wright was ordered not to speak to her about the matter.
The Atlanta woman in question is the mother of Herbo’s son, Ari Fletcher. The former couple have a son named Yosohn Wright with them.
