Rangers trade DeAngelo active

Per Darren Dreger, the Rangers are actively talking to clubs to trade Tony DeAngelo. Pat Brisson, who is DeAngelo’s agent, is confident they will get a deal soon.

Talked to DeAngelo’s agent, Pat Brisson. He says he and Jeff Gorton, GM, of Rangers, are talking to clubs with commercial interest in DeAngelo. Brisson is confident that they will do something in the near future. Meanwhile, DeAngelo will remain at home and await an agreement.

Cape Kakko on NHL COVID Protocol List

Cape Kakko is on the NHL’s COVID protocol list. The obvious issue with Kakko is the fact that he is a diabetic and definitely a candidate for higher risk complications.

At the moment, information is limited because he could only have one positive test that needed to be followed up. There have been false positives in the league so far. Regardless, we wish him and everyone in the Rangers organization good health.

PS COVID is still a real threat. Please be safe and healthy.

NJ Devils postponed COVID Rangers game with Saturday

Ten members of the NJ Devils are on the NHL’s COVID list. Their games are postponed, including Saturday’s game against the Rangers.
