Random: Twitter just defeated water-type gym leader Misty in Pokémon Red

It’s been more than a week since Twitter began its journey in the Game Boy classics Pokémon Red.

If you missed it, users on this social media platform played the original Game Boy title in the avatar of the Twitter profile of Gameloft Montreal programmer Constantin Liétard (@screenshots).

So, what’s the latest? The mastermind behind this social media experiment has just confirmed that Cerulean City Water-type Gym leader Misty has finally been defeated. Acquired Cascade Badge!

It looks like the Level 18 Oddish (nickname CURSE) was finally able to pull through.

The rest of the party currently consists of a Level 16 Spearow (SPEAROW), a Level 14 Wigglytuff (POP), a Level 24 Wartortle (AMAYBE), a Level 16 Geodude (ABBPRI), and a Level 10 Abrah by the name of Alakazam.
