One of the highlights of 2020 was the indie hit Hades by Supergiant Games. The title was one of the best selling indies on the Switch eShop and we were told that it was a heavenly journey to hell, which crowned the outstanding ten out of ten stars.
As you can probably imagine now, it had some serious mega fans, and one on Reddit called canhazreddit went further by creating their own, own arcade cabinet that contains this quality roguelike.
The creator gives a little extra detail and explains how it’s powered by an “i5, Nvidia 1060” (computer components) and the cabinet itself is just a “giant wooden” case. The left stick is an UltraStick 360 and although there are coins on the unit, it “unfortunately” doesn’t actually work.
Although the original idea was to use a Nintendo Switch as a source device, they unfortunately could not find exactly what they needed at the time to make it happen.
