Sen. Paul Rand Paul said he was harassed at the gym by a ‘Karen’ for refusing to wear a mask on the treadmill.
“I was on the treadmill the other day and Karen told the people ‘he’s on a treadmill and he’s running without a mask,’ ‘Paul knelt down. during an interview with Tucker Carlson Friday. “Is this the world we’re going to live in, where everyone is reporting and the Gestapo is going to arrest you?”
Paul used the look to also attack Anthony Fauci, who now serves as President Biden’s chief medical adviser. Paul accused the doctor of posing risks to immune populations that spread the disease in order to promote mask compliance in general.
“There are no news reports and no scientific studies that say that after vaccination there is a kind of infection that people who have been vaccinated spread the disease,” Paul said. ‘What Fauci will not tell you is that he’s telling you a noble lie. He’s lying to you because he does not think we are smart enough to make decisions. His fear is that if the vaccinated people stop wearing the mask, then the unvaccinated will say, hell, I’m not wearing a mask either. ”
Like a large number of his colleagues and officials in Washington, Rand Paul is a survivor of the coronavirus that contracted it in April 2020.
Fauci pushed back against Paul and told him during a Senate hearing Thursday that masks are not ‘theater’.
“If you’re talking about reinfection and not entering into the concept of variants, it’s a very different ball game. That’s a good reason for a mask,” Fauci told him.
