Rams coach Sean McVay does not know if Jared Goff or John Wolford will start on Saturday

Just over a week after undergoing surgery to repair a broken and dislocated thumb, Los Angeles Rams quarterback Jared Goff was a full participant in the practice while John Wolford’s sting put him out of practice on Tuesday held.

Still, head coach Sean McVay told reporters on Tuesday he had no updates about who his starting quarters would be when the sixth-seeded Rams face the leading Packers in Green Bay in Green Bay on Saturday in the NFC Division Round.

Goff misses the Rams’ last game of the regular season against the Cardinals due to his injured thumb. In place of Goff, Wolford got the start and the Rams scored a victory to clinch a playoff spot.

On Super Wild Card weekend, the Rams defeated the Seahawks with Wolford starting and relieving Goff. Wolford was injured early in the game with what is determined to be a sting. Goff, who admitted after the game that his thumb was not yet 100%, achieved the victory.

McVay only announced an appetizer on the day of the game against the Seahawks and another long week of what-if and no updates ahead.

As for the striking defensive attack, Aaron Donald, who was dealing with a rib injury and left the game against the Seahawks early, McVay maintained that he expects Donald to be ready against the Packers.

“The Terminator will be ready to go,” McVay said of Donald, per The Athletic is Jourdan Rodrigue.
