Rainbow Six Siege’s next operation is officially Crimson Heist

16 February 2021 It’s official. Rainbow Six Siege: Crimson Heist is on its way.

It’s kind of Rainbow a day. Ubisoft has just confirmed that Rainbow Six Quarantine’s new name is not Parasite at all, and now – after a leak that surfaced earlier today – Ubisoft has confirmed that Crimson Heist is the next operation for Rainbow Six Siege. The FPS game’s Y6S1 is almost here.

The official image shows the same image that was through leaks all day. It’s a silhouette of a Rainbow Six Siege operator looking at the ‘camera’, with a high neck coat, cap and glowing red, round glasses. The image is slapped with the logo for the multiplayer game and the words ‘Crimson Heist’ in Siege’s famous font, under the heading ‘To do the job, can sometimes require a more creative approach.’

As we have the launch date of Rainbow Six Siege Year 6, season 1 ahead of schedule – which is planned for later this month – we have no real details on what the new season will contain. But of course there are also more leaks up front.

Occupation dates Benjaminstrike mailed in early December that “Year 6 Season 1 Operation is called Crimson Heist”, and confirm that he was 100% sure about this. The dataminer also tweeted about other features allegedly coming to the game for the Y6S1, such as a “Device called ‘RCE-Ratero’ ‘, new interface preferences menu options, and even the name and nationality of a new op: an Argentine operator called “Flores”.

We expect to learn a lot more about the new operation this Sunday, so stay tuned.
