Rachel Bilson goes out with OC cast member Adam Brody: ‘It was definitely a unique experience’
Rachel Bilson starts about her time dating the OC role model Adam Brody.
Bilson, 39, who spoke to Nylon on Tuesday, talked about her time playing Summer Roberts and dating the then costar Brody.
“Because of what the program was and how young we all were, it was really great to go through with someone who was experiencing the same thing and have such support,” the Los Angeles resident said. ‘I’m actually grateful I had it.

‘It was definitely a unique experience and I do not think anyone else could really understand it if they were not in it. That’s why it was very helpful and supportive, and I’m very grateful for the whole experience. ‘
Bilson said she would be receptive to the restart of the program – which was initially offered from 2003 to 2007 – and kept in touch with creator Josh Schwartz, whom she described as a brother and author Stephanie Savage.
“You know, I’ve always said something that Josh and Stephanie want to do, that I’m on board for, but it’s hard to figure out what you would do with the characters and where they would be,” she said. ‘I would say if they ever wanted to do it, I would do it. But I just do not know where you’re going. ‘
She said she “actually recently texted former costar Ben McKenzie, who was so nice, and he just welcomed another child into the world.”

She said she was happy to contact Melinda Clarke again to watch their podcast of the program, titled Welcome to the OC, B ***** s! of Kast Media.
“Mindy and I are close again, of course, which is great, but we’ve all talked about getting together, so we hope that will happen soon,” she said. “We just want to get together, get all the kids together. It’s just so crazy. Everyone has children anyway, or many of us have. It will definitely be a trip. ‘
Bilson is the mother of daughter Briar Rose Christensen (six), with ex Hayden Christensen, while Brody (41) is the father of daughter Arlo, five, and a seven-month-old son with wife Leighton Meester.
