R. Kelly fully vaccinated against COVID-19, receives a 2nd vaccination in prison

R. Kelly sat in jail awaiting his trial on charges of sexual crime and tried to release bail the entire time he was locked up. However, the artist is described as a “flight risk” after reports noted that he and his team were planning to leave the United States. The singer tried to use COVID-19 as an excuse to get out of jail, but it now looks like it will no longer be a card he can play, as Kelly allegedly received the coronavirus vaccine has.

The Bureau of Prisons noted that R. Kelly was admitted to 63 inmates at the MCC who were fully vaccinated, along with 128 staff members. The singer allegedly recently received his second dose of vaccine after receiving the first shot in January 2021. This comes after Kelly twice tried to get out of jail due to COVID-19 issues. R.
