SANTO DOMINGO.- The Dominican Republic is booming in the international market for sovereign bonuses for an amount of 2500 million dollars, informs the Jews of the Ministry of Health.

The transaction is structured in trams, the first, a repurchase of a voucher that exists for an amount of 1,000 million dollars with revenue in 2030, with a return of 3.87%, representing a reduction of 0.63% in the cost for the country to this place, explained Hacienda in a communication.

The second is a new bonus of 1,500 million pounds with revenues in 2041, at a yield of 5.3%, representing this “first Latin American sovereign issue and emerging markets (this year) with 20 years to go”, aggregates the information .

This issue “has a historical demand of 10,000 million dollars, so it is worth looking at the amount that is required,” he said.

In agreement with the communication, with this transaction the Dominican Governor «approves the favorable conditions of the international markets and ensures an important part of the external financing required for 2021».

“The demand that we hold it is a clear signal of confidence and credibility that the inversionists in our country and the Government have, through the management of the State’s finances by virtue of the present administration”, underlined in the note the title of Hacienda, Jochi Vicente.

While the Deputy Minister of Public Credit, María José Martínez, underlined that the country approved «the favorable financial conditions presented this week in order to ensure an important part of the external financing stipulated in the Presidency of the General Assembly en moneda extranjera ».

This is the first debt issue issued by the Dominican Gobierno since September, with a whopping $ 3,800 million in the international market, a historic figure for the country.

In this issue, the top interest rates are up to date: 1,800 million dollars will be raised to a 12-year high, with a yield of 4.875%.

Otros 1700 million dollars, with an increase in 2060, are moving with a yield of 6.25%, and are being denominated in denominated pesos-equivalent to 300 million dollars- with a return of 10% and an increase in 2026.
