Queen’s Gambit-inspired hotel room is available for a limited time

Now you can sleep like Beth Harmon, with chess pieces on the ceiling and all.

Kentucky’s 21c Museum Hotel has teamed up with Lexington’s tourism group VisitLEX and creative agency CORNETT to create a hotel room inspired by the popular Netflix series ‘The Queen’s Gambit’.

The Harmon Room – named after the main character of the series, Beth Harmon – is designed in the same style of the 1960s that appears in the show, complete with custom chess wallpaper and vintage furniture.

The room also has a locally made chess set that you can buy, and a complimentary “Lex Liquors” bag, which can be seen on “The Queen’s Gambit”.

The centerpiece of the room is a large chess set installed above the bed, which is an artistic relaxation of Beth Harmon’s drug-induced hallucinations, ‘says the VisitLEX website.
