Quarterback John Wolford, defensive lineman Aaron Donald, attacking linebacker David Edwards and wide receiver Cooper Kupp from day-to-day; Donald and Kupp expected to play against Packers

The quarterback John Wolford (stingray), the defensive lineman Aaron Donald (rib), the offensive lineman David Edwards (Achilles tendonitis) and the wide receiver Cooper Kupp (bursitis) are all considered a day-to-day due to injuries sustained in the Rams’ Wild Card victory over the Seahawks, head coach Sean McVay told reporters Sunday night during a video conference.

In the cases of Donald and Kupp, McVay said he did not expect any of their injuries to affect their availability for Saturday’s division game against the Packers.

As for Kupp specifically, McVay said that “hopefully[sal ons]overcome the swelling and inflammation, with the anticipation and the hope of having him ready. “

While Wolford came off a sting and Jared Goff was still recovering from his right thumb injury, McVay said “we’re going to take it one day at a time with both guys.” McVay reiterated his comments after the match and also said he would not make a statement on who will start.

“I just want to be able to see their health,” McVay said when asked what kind of progress he should see from both quarters before deciding who will start. “That’s the first thing, and then we just go from there.”

If Edwards will eventually not be available for Saturday’s game in Green Bay, Bobby Evans will once again be his replacement on the left guard.
