The QAnon Shaman, he with the fur, face paint, horns and bare chest, offered to speak next month during the indictment hearing of former President Donald Trump.

The Shaman, real name Jacob Chansley, told the Associated Press via his attorney Albert S. Whatley that he would be willing to attend the trial and testify against the president.

Whatans said Chansley was “terribly beaten with Trump” but now feels “as if he was betrayed by the president” after the president did not forgive him and other Capitol rioters.

Chansley is one of several rioters in the Capitol who have asked Trump for a presidential pardon, but have not received one from the government in recent days. Chansley argued that he would come to the Capitol “at the request of the president that all ‘patriots’ come to DC on January 6.”

Jenna Ryan, a Texas real estate agent who flew to the siege in a private jet, told Dallas TV station CBS DFW: “I feel like I followed my president. I followed what we were called to do. “He asked us to fly there. He asked us to be there.”

Trump’s indictment begins on February 8.

Michael Sherwin, U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia, told the BBC the FBI had identified about 400 suspects and arrested 135, several of whom suggested they believed they were following Trump’s orders by participating in the siege.

Chansley is facing charges, including disorderly conduct, violent intrusion and the illegal movement of confined spaces within the Capitol site.

Insider contacted Chansley’s attorney, Albert S. Whatley, for comment.
