(CNN Español) – The Secretary of the Department of Health of Puerto Rico, Carlos Mellado, confirms on Tuesday that he identified himself in the country as a Puerto Rican woman, resident in Europe, who is positive about the B.1.1.7. Variant, a new covid -19. This variant has recently been identified in the United Kingdom.
Mellado informs that the woman, who is between 50 years old, lives in the United States of America and travels to Puerto Rico. The employee agreed that the woman was admitted to a hospital and responded satisfactorily to treatment. The female identified by LabCorp.
