WEST PALM BEACH, Florida – The state of Florida is not escaping the impact of winter weather that covers so much of the United States.
The storms that stretch from Idaho to Texas to Pennsylvania have delayed the transportation of vaccines to Florida.
Publix canceled its COVID-19 appointment window for Wednesday due to a lack of inventory. The next scheduled appointment window is now Friday morning at 07:00

Publix said the appointments scheduled for Wednesday and Thursday will not be affected by this change.
“We know how important the administration of this vaccine is, and we deeply regret the need to cancel Wednesday’s schedules,” Maria Brous, spokeswoman for Publix, said Tuesday. “Once additional vaccine has been received, we will announce the next opportunity for planning the vaccine appointment.”
