21:34
75 min: Alba curls the ball over his face. Diallo does just enough to stop Dembele from putting it in the net. The goal scorer could have had a hat trick today if only he had been a little sharper.

BT has just shown a repeat of Navas’ penalty save, showing the spot kick had to be taken again as the ball was cleared after it came off the bar by Verratti, who was in the D when Messi took the penalty kick. Strange thing is that VAR checked it at the time, but did not notice it … yet they gave a penalty kick earlier for an accidentally wrong kick.
20:53
“After seeing the ridiculous decision, it is very clear that the problem with VAR is not the system, but English officials,” stormed David Singleton. ‘In the rushed Juve-Porto match yesterday, VAR was hardly important, and tonight English officials give a ridiculous punishment. The real question is, if Luiz was sent for accidentally in the box, which apparently was a stone penalty against Wolves, why was it not a red card? Bad decisions are one thing, but the contradictions are staggering. ”

PSG 1-1 Barcelona (ag: 5-2)
What a half it was not! That leaves us reason enough to think that this band is alive. Barcelona could have been level, but their finishing was wrong – except when Messi thundered into the net one mile away; Dembele missed several chances, Dest pushed a shot to the bar and Messi saved a penalty kick, and all after PSG moved into a seemingly insurmountable lead, thanks to a very happy penalty kick. Pochettino needs to pull his players together at halftime because here can be bottled. Barça has hope …
20:49
45 + 2 min: The VAR check is complete. Play resume with a corner to Barça, fueled by Busquets … and Florenzi clears the line!
20:48
Punishment saved!
Navas goes the right way and turns Messi’s sloppy penalty kick to the bar and out! Unbelievable! But wait, there’s a VAr review going on ….

20:42
41 min: Dembele lays the ball back from the line to Busquets at the end of the area. The midfielder hits it for the first time, forcing Navas into an awkward rescue with his knees.
