Leonardo, sporting director of Paris Saint-Germain, was again asked about his club’s interest in Lionel Messi in the light of the Champions League draw between the two parties.
The French champions are still linked with a summer move for Messi after his contract with Barcelona expires at the end of the season.
Leonardo says that PSG is monitoring the situation, but that there is still nothing going on with the Barcelona captain.
“We have nothing at all about the future except the idea of expanding the players we already have,” he said.
‘There is nothing to contract or plan for anything. We are also committed to measuring the financial results of this season.
“So, we are observant, but there is nothing (with Messi).”

Back in Spain a new report from Carrusel Deportivo claims that Messi’s father has canceled a meeting with PSG because they first want to hear from the new president Joan Laporta.
