The PS5 only becomes available a few times a week – if at all – and even then the next-generation Sony console tends to sell out within minutes. Players wishing to purchase the PlayStation 5 should keep an eye on retailers and be prepared for stock.
Trying to buy a PS5 console can remain difficult for a few more months until Sony can increase production to meet demand. Until consoles are widely available on store shelves, PlayStation fans will need to continue to be happy with online drops.
PS Direct PS5 Reload
PlayStation Direct released a limited number of PS5 consoles on Tuesday and sold out within an hour. Players were warned on Twitter about the stock, which shared a link to the PS Direct queue almost 40 minutes before it opened.
However, PS Direct has previously released stock over consecutive days, so if you missed PS Direct yesterday, it’s worth visiting the site regularly for the rest of the week. Enable notifications for @ Wario64 and other dedicated Twitter accounts to be notified when the link to the queue takes effect.

Purpose PS5 Reload
PlayStation fans should be watching Target this week as it appears the wording on Target’s PS5 page has changed. Sometimes a change in the wording of a website is followed by an inventory. Although nothing is confirmed, it’s worth checking out Target regularly over the next few days.
If and when PS5 stock is available, the consoles are limited to one per customer and are only available when you pick them up or pick them up. Target’s website allows customers to search for stock within 50 miles, so players may need to be able to drive to charge their PS5.
