It’s a new year, and players everywhere are hoping it’s a better chance of a PS5. 2020 was not good for gamers; since the release of the console on November 12, it has been sold out everywhere. Right now, the only consoles you can buy are branded at obscene levels at retailer sites like eBay and StockX, often multiple times their store value of $ 400 or $ 500 (depending on which model you want). The console was otherwise virtually impossible to find, with at least one person waiting 36 hours in line to get one at a California GameStop.

A handful of stock declines in the past few weeks have also been sold out immediately, and despite the demand being small, there was no demand, especially since ordinary users had to compete with bots and merchants. Twitter is still a source for many gamers to watch the stock news, but it’s hard to say how credible the news is there. Unattached Twitter account @YtNextGenGaming recently reported that new inventory at retailers such as Best Buy, Costco, Target, Newegg and Walmart will fall. If that happens, we’ll update this article.

The PS5 is available in two versions: a $ 500 Blu-ray Model, and an otherwise identical $ 400 digital version without a disc slot. At this point, people are happy to get their hands on one of them, but if you do not have a library of optical discs – for Blu-ray movies, used games or old PS4 games – we recommend you goes with the $ 400 version.
