PS5 update for Walmart, Target, Best Buy and more

Sony’s PlayStation 5 is still one of the most popular consoles on the market, but gamers are finding it difficult amid the huge demand.

Twitter accounts have been created dedicated to monitoring PlayStation 5 availability. Although they sometimes share unfounded rumors, it also provides useful information when recharging consoles in stores and online.

Here are the latest from some of the major retailers.

Purpose PS5 reload

PS5s were not in stock on Target’s website in early January 9, but accessories such as the DualSense Wireless Controller were on sale. This is a recent pattern for the trader.

Several Twitter accounts are monitoring Target for updates on PS5 inventory, including Target Restock Alerts and YtNextGenGaming. There were also no PS5s reported to Target on Friday.

Walmart’s website was no longer in stock for PS5s early Saturday. Attempting to purchase one of the versions of the console returned an error page with the message: “Oops! This item is not available or is on a new order.”
