But Mario holds 1 number with 1,000 units
The increase in PlayStation 5 shares this week has had a huge impact on sales of its video games.
The biggest of these is Spider-Man: Miles Morales. The most popular PS5 game rose 172% week-on-week in physical box sales, which jumped from number 7 to number 2. The match only missed 1,000 units in the first place.
The other major PS5 exclusive in the charts is Demon’s Souls at No. 21. The game was not in the top 40 last week, but has returned thanks to a 123% rise.
Overall, sales of PS5 games increased by 64% over the previous week.
At number 1 is the Nintendo Switch game Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury, which achieves its third consecutive number 1 despite a 38% week-on-week drop.
There were some small new versions this week. Atlus’ Persona 5 strikers make their debut at no. 5 on Switch and PS4 (PS4 is 72% of sales). Meanwhile, Square Enix makes Bravely Default 2 on Nintendo Switch number 11
The last major artist this week is The Last of Us: Part 2. The PS4 game returns to third place in third place after a 3992% increase in sales due to a price discount that leaves the horror game fell to below £ 20 at major retailers.
