PS5 Restock Update for Amazon, Target, Antonline, Walmart, GameStop and more

After unexpected stock declines earlier this week, the PlayStation 5 was sold out again in major retailers in the US

Players received surprisingly good news on Tuesday when Amazon and Target released a limited amount of PS5 Digital Edition consoles. Predictably, however, the stock sold out quickly, as it has done with every stock since they started in November.

Both the PS5 and PS5 Digital Edition are likely to remain frustratingly elusive until the summer, after Sony acknowledged earlier this month that production is unlikely to increase in the immediate future due to a shortage of components.

Here’s a breakdown of the latest PS5 stock information from Walmart, GameStop, Target, Amazon and more.

Amazon PS5 Reload

The PlayStation 5 has now been sold out on Amazon after being available in limited numbers at select retailers earlier this week.

The retailer has unexpectedly released a small amount of PS5 Digital Edition consoles that have been snapped up quickly and the product is now referred to as ‘unavailable’ on the Amazon website. The same goes for the standard version of the PS5, which was not part of the stock.

Unlike other retailers, Amazon does not announce its inventory ahead of time, but gamers can keep up to date with any updates by following Twitter accounts like @ Wario64 and @GYXdeals, which have regular updates on supplies.

Antonline PS5 Reload

As with other retailers, the PS5 is also not available at Antonline. However, the retailer has previously committed to making a limited number of next-generation consoles available each week, and it’s worth keeping an eye on its social media channels to keep abreast of future stock declines.

Best Buy PS5 Reload

Both versions of the PS5 are not available at Best Buy, as the latest stock was quickly sold out earlier this month.

The dealer has not yet announced when more units will arrive, but it is worth checking his website regularly for updates.

GameStop PS5 Reload

GameStop released a limited amount of PS5s last week as part of several bundles, including controllers and games, but all shares have since sold out.

The retailer has alerted customers via its Twitter account and gamers should follow GameStop’s social media channels for updates on further stock cuts.

Newegg PS5 Reload

The PS5 remains unavailable at Newegg and the dealer has yet to indicate when the next stock will drop.

However, Newegg members can sign up to be notified when the retailer releases more stock.

Purpose PS5 Reload

Target’s latest stock of PS5 Digital Edition sold out quickly on Tuesday and the console is no longer available.

The same goes for the standard version of the PS5, which has been sold out at Target since last month.

Each time the retailer made the consoles available, PS5s were only available online with a pick-up or drop-off collection once the order was placed. There was also a limit of one console per customer.

Walmart PS5 Reload

Both the PS5 and the PS5 Digital Edition were unavailable, as Walmart’s latest stock sold out quickly earlier in February, when the retailer made more consoles available.

Walmart has not yet announced when it will release more consoles.
