PS5 Restock Update for Amazon, Best Buy, Newegg, Walmart and more

Sony’s PlayStation 5 remains one of the most popular consoles currently available, and many people are still struggling to find one. Major retailers such as Target, Amazon and Best Buy have often seen shares sold out, causing frustration for prospective customers.

Although it was already released on November 12, 2020, the stock of the PS5 was quickly tracked when it became available. If you’re hoping to get a console as a special Easter treat, you can outline the PS5 stock situation from Amazon, Best Buy, Walmart and more.

Amazon PS5 Reload

The PlayStation 5 had no stock on Sunday morning. Visitors to the online retail giant left the simple message: “We do not know when and if it will be back in stock.”

Best Buy PS5 Reload

Both versions of the PlayStation 5 sold out on Best Buy’s website on Sunday morning. Although a stock was expected to be expected again on Friday, consumers were left disappointed when it did not materialize.

Best Buy used to have PS5s available every Friday for the past six weeks. But at least this Easter, gamers have no luck.

GameStop is a great place for those looking for the PlayStation 5, with regular stock. The retailer briefly had a stock on Friday morning and offered bundles with Spider-Man Ultimate Edition, Call of Duty and Avengers games. However, the consoles were subsequently sold out and no units are available yet.

Twitter accounts dedicated to games like @ Wario64 and @GYXdeals provide useful stock updates, but are worth checking out for prospective buyers.

Both versions of the PS5 were out of stock in Sony’s official store on Sunday morning. PS Direct was last revamped on March 23, but since then there has been no movement.

However, those who want to buy a PS5 via this route need a PSN account, and the quantity is limited to one per address.

The Twitter user @ Wario64 re-notified his followers last Tuesday about PS Direct’s inventory and it’s worth checking out for future updates.

Those hoping to buy a PS5 from Target should order online and pick up their console through pickup or pickup collection. Stocks are also limited to one per person if in stock.
