PS5 Inventory Update – More Bad News for Sony After PlayStation 5 Resale Issues | Games | Entertainment

PS5 stock shortages have taken a toll on Sony’s consumer website Trustpilot.

PS5 reissues have been going on continuously since pre-orders were made available for the console in late 2020.

PlayStation 5 consoles are usually sold out within minutes of being offered for sale, leading to months of frustration for game fans.

Things have not been facilitated by bots and scalpers selling units at high prices.

Because Sony could not communicate with customers, fans started posting negative reviews on Trustpilot.

Following the launch of the PlayStation 5, the Sony UK Trustpilot rating dropped to just 1.7 stars.

Reviewers criticized Sony for poor planning and not communicating when PlayStation 5 consoles would be back in stock.

Of course, this is not a complete disaster for Sony, as the PS5 still remains popular when it’s on sale.

Things should also get better in February, especially if the reports of a large drop in equities appear to be accurate.

There are even reports that Argos may have PS5 shares in the early morning hours of January 24th.

Although there have been many conflicting reports about Argos re-shares, some claim that units will be available in the UK from 01:00.

“Argos employees have announced that they are handling several PS5s in preparation for the launch,” reads a PS5 UK tweet. “Several employees said we should unfortunately wait today or tomorrow night between 01:00 and 04:00.”

While Sony may have hit a hit on Trustpilot, there are everyone who is lucky enough to secure a console.

The new PlayStation device has some fantastic features to match with its killer launch.

Most important of all is the DualSense controller, which uses advanced haptic feedback to reflect the action on the screen.

In games like Astro’s Playroom, for example, you’ll feel it when your character is walking on ice or being blown backwards by a strong gust of wind.

Adjustable triggers are also used to better mimic the perception of a rifle or to retract to the strings of a bow.

The customizable triggers are best demonstrated in games like Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War, Fortnite and Borderlands 3, where different weapons offer different levels of resistance.

It will be interesting to see how games like Horizon Zero Dawn 2 use the customizable triggers and haptic feedback, especially considering the emphasis on hunting large animals with high-tech bows.
