Looking for a PS5 or Xbox Series X? Well, GameStop is about to bring the heat with a bunch of bundles falling today.
The retailer announced today (Thursday, January 21) a bundle of a limited number of PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X | S ‘, bundles go on sale. It’s even going to have Nintendo Switch bundles in stock if you try to locate the dockable console with some (hopefully) neat packaging. As of 13:15 (ET) there is no PS5 stock available.

But, as always, you expect these units to sell out and go quickly also. It’s bad enough that GameStop’s is tweet refers to this incoming inventory as a limited number, but recommends turning on notifications for his social media account to do so.
This proposal from GameStop is both smart shopping and smart marketing. Although buyers can get notification of availability faster, users choose GameStop to send notifications about them anything that it wants.

If you look at recent GameStop tweets, it indicates that you are receiving notifications for the live games, promotions about games offered for sale, and videos of people who were able to successfully purchase a console from the retailer.
And you may not want to get such spam on your home screen, but at this rate you may have no choice. And it’s not like the other accounts can be more useful. Even the Twitter accounts that focus on PS5 stock notifications can send you alerts for stock that doesn’t apply to you, whether it’s in another country or a retailer that needs membership, like Sam’s Club.
