WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) – Wichita police have arrested 62-year-old Ken Thomas of Wichita on charges of two counts of felony criminal mischief.
Police say Friday at about 10:35 p.m., officers responded to a shooting in the 2300 block of North Broadway.
According to officers, they located a 19-year-old male who was shot in the hand and torso by a rifle. The man was transported to a hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.
According to police, a second 17-year-old victim arrived at the hospital who was shot in the upper body by a gun. He was also treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
The investigation revealed that the two victims entered the Treatco plant in the 2300 block of North Broadway when Thomas, who owns the property, was approached. According to officers, Thomas fired several men from a gun at the men and hit them.
Officials say they contacted Thomas at the Treatco property, and he was arrested without incident. A rifle was also recovered.
The investigation is continuing, and the case will be submitted to the Sedgwick County District Attorney’s Office.
