Actress Priyanka Chopra has announced the name of the Indian restaurant she is launching in New York City. Priyanka Chopra is working with restaurateur and nightlife guru David Rabin, as well as her friend – businessman Maneesh Goyal – to open the new SONA eatery.
The actress posted some photos from 2019 revealing the name of the restaurant. She said in her tweets: ‘I am delighted to present you SONA, a new restaurant in NYC, that I have poured my love for Indian food. SONA is the personification of the timeless India and the fragrances I grew up with. ‘
The kitchen is run by chef Hari Nayak. SONA opens later this month. Priyanka Chopra thanks her friends Maneesh Goyal and David Rabin and also designer Melissa Bowers.
