Priyanka Chopra defends Oscar Noms presentation

“Would you like to think about what qualifies someone?”

You, go Priyanka Chopra! The actor claps back to a reporter who says she and her husband, Nick Jonas, are not capable enough to be presenters at the 2021 Oscars.

It did not take long before Chopra the journalist, who tweeted“No contempt of these two, but I’m not sure their contribution to the films qualifies them to announce Oscar nominees.”

She responded with a video in which she flipped through her IMDB page to show how comprehensive her credits are, which includes her new Netflix movie, The white tiger, Don 2, Bajirao Mastani, and her 2017 film with Zac Efron and The Rock, Baywatch.

Of course, Jonas has also starred in many movies. He appears with The Rock and Kevin Hart in Jumanji: Welcome to the jungle, and he’s also known for playing Nate in Disney’s Kamp Rock.

As a very established actor, Chopra has learned how to handle online criticism well. She explained how she manages to keep her cool when people rudely say things about her on social media.

“I’m just like everyone else,” she told Marie Claire. ‘In the mornings when I drive to work or drink coffee, I browse through Twitter, Instagram, the news and when my name comes up, it’s like,’ Okay, what do people say? How do we feel? ‘

“I just do not respond to it or let it affect my mental well-being,” Chopra continued.

The next person who questions Chopra’s acting experience might want to think twice before sharing their opinion on social media.
