The royal family strictly adhered to the British Covid-19 regulations during the funeral of the Duke of Edinburgh and the Queen sat alone during the service to comply with these restrictions.
The Duke of Sussex and Duke of Cambridge have their seats opposite each other in the St. George Chapel taken. William sits next to his wife Catherine, the Duchess of Cambridge, while Prince Harry sits separately.
The service was the first time Prince Harry had attended a public event with his family since his bombing with his wife Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex, and Oprah Winfrey. The last official engagement he took part in was the annual Commonwealth Service at Westminster Abbey in central London two years ago.
After the service and after the Queen left Bentley, the rest of the royals walked back to Windsor Castle on foot.
Prince Harry and the Duchess of Cambridge joined Prince William to walk together while the rest of the family visited the St. Leaving George Chapel.
Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, could not join the family because she was pregnant with the couple’s second child and was advised not to travel from California to the UK at this time.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are getting married in 2018 in the St. George Chapel. The fairytale wedding was for many people the long-running modernization of Britain’s most famous family.
However, the couple resigned from the royal family last year and relinquished their royal titles and roles as senior members.
Prince Harry paid tribute to their grandfather on Monday, describing him as “a man of service, honor and great humor” after flying back to the United Kingdom before the funeral.
“He was genuine himself, with a serious sharp mind, and could hold the attention of any room because of his charm – and also because you never knew what he would say next,” the Duke of Sussex said in a statement. Archewell Foundation.
Prince Harry stayed at Frogmore Cottage where he followed Covid-19 protocols after traveling from Los Angeles.
