Prince William allegedly wants to meet with Prince Harry before reuniting in public this summer.
The brothers are expected to stand shoulder to shoulder for the unveiling of a statue they had erected in honor of their late mother, Princess Diana. It is scheduled to launch on July 1 at Kensington Palace, which would be her 60th birthday.
Harry, 36, who currently lives in California, is expected to attend. On Thursday, a source told Us Weekly that William, 38, hopes the two can meet before the public appearance, which will be investigated by British tabloids.
“Harry is working so hard on his job and is planning for the arrival of [his] daughter that he is trying not to think about the consequences that may arise with his return to the UK, ‘the informant told the outlet.

“All eyes will be on them during the unveiling, and critics will analyze each movement and how they treat each other,” the source continued. “[William] do not believe that it is feasible for them to reunite in the public eye without showing signs of tension if they do not devise their differences in advance. “
According to the outlet, the brothers initially commissioned the statue in 2017 “to celebrate the twentieth anniversary of her death and to acknowledge her positive impact in the UK and around the world.” After some delays, the British princes adjusted their plans to celebrate their mother’s birthday.
Diana died in 1997 at the age of 36 from injuries she sustained during a car accident in Paris.
“The statue is to reflect on Diana’s legacy, not their feud, and William wants to keep it that way,” the source claims.

The insider also claims that the communication between the brothers was ‘sparse’. Despite their strained relationship, William allegedly kept the communication rules open, especially when it came to discussions about their mother’s statue.
On March 7, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex gave a bomb interview to Oprah Winfrey, which was viewed by nearly 50 million people worldwide.
During the two-hour presentation, Harry revealed that his relationship with his father Prince Charles (72), as well as his older brother, had broken down.
William is second in line after Charles.

Meghan Markle, 39, describes her as isolated and miserable within the royal family that she had suicidal thoughts. The Duchess of Sussex also claims that a member of the royal family has ‘concerns’ about the color of her unborn child’s skin.
The family member, according to Harry, was not Queen Elizabeth II (94) or Prince Philip (99), which sparked a wave of speculation about who it could be.
Harry told the media magnate (67) the royal family cut him off financially at the beginning of 2020 after he planned to retire from his roles. But he was able to afford security for his family because of the money Diana left behind.
Harry expressed his displeasure at the restrictions placed on members of the royal family – who played a key role in his decision to resign from his duties as a senior member.

After the interview aired, William became the first British royal to speak out on allegations of disorderly conduct by his brother and sister-in-law.
During a visit to a school in East London with his wife Kate Middleton, William told reporters who confronted him: “We are very much not a racist family.”
After Harry and Markle got married in May 2018 in Windsor Castle, the royal family seemed to be welcoming the Duchess of Sussex, a glamorous former TV star. The pair are seen as a fresh young face for the monarchy of an increasingly multicultural nation.
It did not take long before the fairy tale unraveled.

The couple relinquished royal duties last year and eventually settled in California, saying they wanted to escape the racist coverage and unwanted invasion of their privacy by the British media.
During the interview, the duke and duchess told that they are expecting a girl who should be this summer.
Harry admitted to Winfrey that he and his brother were on ‘different paths’.
“I love William very much,” Harry explained. “He’s my brother. We are through hell together. But we are on different paths. ‘
