Prince William misses Prince Harry another year after Megxit: report

Prince William still misses his brother, Prince Harry, a year after Megxit a lot, according to a new profile of the British heir to the throne.

“After the anger over how things happened remained, he left behind his brother’s absence,” an assistant told the British Sunday Times.

“They shared everything about their lives, an office, a foundation, most days’ meetings and there was a lot of fun along the way,” the assistant, who was not named, added.

“He will miss it forever.”

With Prince Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle, relocated to California and renouncing royal life, Prince William feels he is forever doomed to face the future as the next King of Britain without his brother on his she, the duke told the Times.

Prince William “definitely feels it’s pressing him now – his future looks different because of his brother’s choice, it’s not easy.” one friend told the newspaper.

“It’s still raw,” agrees another friend who also does not want to be named.

“He’s very upset about what happened, although he absolutely intends that he and Harry’s relationship will heal over time.”

Prince Harry also complains about the dropout.

“I love William,” he said last week. “We went through hell together and we have a shared experience, but we are on different paths.”

The brothers have several chances to see each other in person this summer, the Times profile noted.

The Duke of Edinburgh becomes 100 in June; a statue of Princess Diana will be unveiled at Kensington Palace in July, marking what would be her 60th birthday, the newspaper said.
