The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge lost their family dog Lupo last year. They call the occasion “very sad” in an emotional Instagram post announcing the news.
However, the royal couple and their three children are given a new dog given by Kate Middleton’s brother.
James Middleton has been breeding dogs since 2011 and according to Camberges has given a black cocker spaniel that is about eight months old.
The name of the new puppy is not known, but it is the same breed as the late Lupo.
It is understood that Lupo is the uncle of the new dogs.
“I had an honest conversation with Sean Fletcher for the BBC Live Sunday program with Pets As Therapy, and talked about how dogs can change lives in so many different ways.”
He added: “I really believe that animals are medicine and that they are incredible for our own well-being.”
In other royal news, Prince William and Kate Middleton gained access to the Queen’s Sandringham House specifically for work purposes.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will be able to use the Queen’s estate to make royal video calls.
Kate Middleton filmed a clip in the property praising the efforts of nurses during the coronavirus pandemic.
The couple normally live in their country house from Anmer Hall in Norfolk.
Prince William also recently called a doctor in Yately to hear about the efforts to vaccinate as many vulnerable patients as possible.
Dr Gareth Robinson, managing partner of Oakley Heath Group, called the duke’s call a real boost in morale.
