It seems like your prince is playing time to play the rewinder again because the Prince of Persia: The Sands Of Time remake has been delayed again. Ubisoft previously pushed the expected release again from January to March this year. They have now announced that the Sands Of Time needs more time, but did not actually say how much. Someone will have to track down the prince and make him stop running into the Ubisoft offices with that dangerous dagger.
In today’s announcementUbisoft provides the now fairly standard delay post that we have become familiar with since 2020. They thank fans for their feedback and support.
With that said, we made the decision to move the release of Prince Of Persia: The Sands Of Time Remake to a later date. This extra development time will allow our teams to deliver a remake that feels fresh while “they remain true to the original. We understand that the update may come as a surprise and we will keep you posted on the progress of Prince Of Persia: The Sands Of Time Remake.”
Announcing a delay without a new expected date is not a fantastic sign, but Ubisoft is certainly not the first to do so lately. Dying Light 2 did it, and Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 did it too. Neither of the two has since unfortunately taken a release date out of the hat. Good luck to Prince Of Persia.
The remake may need some more time, but the original game is still one of the best time travel games. “There’s no greater statement that the Gregorian calendar is a random attempt to ignore the chaos of existence than when I stab you with my time knife. This reload of Prince of Persia, which is popular, and the button.” undo ‘at the same time,’ ”Brendy Caldwell explains.
When Prince Of Persia: The Sands Of Time Remake does launch, you’ll find it in the Epic Games Store and the Ubisoft Store.
